Teemu Huuhtanen is a Finnish entrepreneur and gaming executive best known as the former CEO of Next Games, the first games company to go public in Finland. He has built a strong reputation for mastering fundraising, securing tens of millions of euros across venture and public markets, and scaling companies internationally.
Before Next Games, Huuhtanen held leadership roles at Rovio and Sulake, gaining deep experience in global entertainment, mobile, and business development. At Next Games, he pioneered partnerships with major entertainment brands like AMC and Netflix, creating hit games based on globally recognized IP such as The Walking Dead and Stranger Things.
He led the company’s successful IPO in 2017 and later orchestrated its sale to Netflix in 2022. Known for his entrepreneurial drive, strong networking skills, and ability to execute high-value deals, Huuhtanen is widely regarded as a key figure in the Nordic gaming industry.
