Harrison Barrett: ‘With the 2026 World Cup fuelling player activity, loyalty is a top priority’
What will you be showing at iGB L!VE and what do you hope to achieve – what does success look like?

Fresh off our two EGR B2B Awards 2026 wins for Innovation in Mobile and Innovation in Casino Software, we will be bringing Soft2Bet’s tech stack to iGB L!VE, with particular focus on MEGA, our gamification solution for casino and sportsbook operators looking to improve engagement and retention.

At the stand, we will be speaking to operators who want to improve the numbers behind growth, from registered users and FTDs to retention, player value and revenue. Soft2Bet is built to support those goals by helping teams launch faster, reduce integration pressure and keep players active for longer across casino and sportsbook.

Our all-in-one setup brings casino, sportsbook, CRM, payments, reporting and compliance into one operating model. MEGA then adds gamification engines across the player journey, with missions, challenges, progression, rewards and segmentation. For tier-one operators dealing with too many vendors, this provides a way to reduce delays, control costs, and bring product changes to market faster.

We want operators to leave our stand with a clear understanding of how Soft2Bet can remove technology-driven bottlenecks and give them more control over launches, retention and revenue. Success for us means turning prospects into partners, particularly operators looking to cut integration delays, take back control of delivery and move faster in regulated markets.

What do you anticipate will be the key talking points at iGB L!VE both in terms of the opportunities and the challenges facing the industry?

Player loyalty will be high on the agenda, especially with the 2026 World Cup driving player activity. Operators will be looking at how technology can keep fans engaged between matches, through the final stages of the tournament and once event traffic starts to ease. A gamified sportsbook can support that by giving players missions, progression, rewards and more reasons to return beyond the headline fixtures.

Operators will also be talking about market entry across regulated markets. Operators want to move quickly, but they still need to meet local requirements, maintain responsible gambling standards and keep the player experience consistent from one market to the next.

That becomes harder when the tech stack is expensive and fragmented. Many operators are still relying on several third-party vendors for sportsbook, casino, CRM, compliance, payments and reporting. Operators are looking for simpler tech stacks that can support growth across several markets.

The 2025 edition of iGB L!VE attracted representatives from 149 nations – a figure only bettered by ICE Barcelona: how important is iGB L!VE’s international profile and what emerging markets would you identify as having the most growth potential?

With representatives from 149 nations in one place, iGB L!VE gives our Business Development team the chance to speak with operators from across the globe in a single setting. Soft2Bet has strong regional coverage and local experience across multiple markets, so we can discuss in detail market entry, local regulations, payments, player expectations, and what an operator needs to launch and scale in each market.

Our platform is designed to support different regulatory requirements from a common technology base, helping operators scale across several markets without building a separate setup each time.

LatAm remains an important growth region for Soft2Bet, and Mexico is one of the markets where we see real upside. It has a large audience, a strong sports culture, clear local payment habits and players who respond to product journeys and gamification that feel familiar to them.

North America will also be high on the agenda, particularly Alberta, Ontario and selected US states. These are markets with high regulatory standards, so operators need compliance, mobile, CRM and player engagement to work together from day one. Soft2Bet has already built strong B2B experience in Canada through ToonieBet, with multiple brand launches expected across Ontario and Alberta in the second half of the year. That gives us practical reference points for operators looking at regulated North American markets.

How important is iGB L!VE as the mid-year meeting point for the industry and what message would you give to industry professionals who may still be considering attending the event?

By mid-year, operators usually know what has worked in the first half of the year and where their current setup is holding them back. If a tech stack has slowed down launches, product updates or retention activity, iGB L!VE is a good time to address it before the second half of the year gathers pace.

With the 2026 World Cup due to begin in a few days, operators need to know that their product and operational setup can handle extra traffic from the first match, across mobile performance, onboarding, payments, compliance and player engagement.

If player churn, delayed market launches or fragmented legacy systems are affecting your business, you cannot afford to sit this one out. Come to the Soft2Bet stand, look under the hood of our platform, and let us show you the math behind the mechanics.
