Ren' Jansen is the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Kansspelautoriteit, the gambling authority in the Netherlands. He was also Chairman of the Board of the Gaming Regulators European Forum (GREF) until June 2023. Previously, he was a member of the Executive Board of the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa) and during these years he also was President of the European Healthcare Fraud & Corruption Network. From 2010 until 2015 Ren' Jansen worked as a Board Consultant, in cooperation with Twynstra Gudde Consultants and Managers. Before that, during 12 years he held several management and Board positions at the (former) Netherlands Competition Authority. He started his professional career as a public servant at the Ministries of Economic Affairs and Social Affairs & Employment. Ren' Jansen holds a degree in sociology of the University of Tilburg. In addition, he followed the educational program Senior Managers in Government at Harvard University.
