We want to help you in any way we can. We've answered the most frequently asked questions about the event so that you can efficiently plan your visit.
Do I qualify as an affiliate or introducing broker?
Please note that iGB Live! and iGB Affiliate Amsterdam are free-to-attend. We do however still vet all affiliates and IBs as this is a significant part of the show. This ensures that those looking to meet affiliates are not misled by the visitor type on someones badge.
Also called publishers or webmasters, an affiliate is a person that refers traffic (in this case players) to an operator website, for example pokerlistings.com would refer a player to 888.com. The affiliate is then paid a revenue share or CPA (cost per acquisition) for each of the players they send.
An introducing broker (IB) is a person or institution who has all the functions of a broker, except to accept money or any type of investment. The introducing broker (IB) usually refers its clients to a dealer and, in return, receives a compensation, such as commissions.
Registering as an affiliate or introducing broker
If you are not sure if you qualify as an affiliate or IB, please email us directly at email@example.com with details of your business. We will then be able to let you know if you are liable for an affiliate badge. If you register as an affiliate or IB under false pretense, we reserve the right to ask you to re-register and change your badge on the day.
We ask for your help in letting us know immediately if you believe someone has registered as an affiliate or IB who should not have. Please approach any member of the events team who will deal with this in the strictest confidence.
