iGB Live!: Why is your session important for delegates?
Laura Crimmons (LC): A lot of people think it’s hard/near impossible to generate quality links in the gaming industry without resorting to spam or paying for links, however my session will show how you can generate quality, natural links that don’t violate Google’s guidelines.
iGB Live!: How is your topic relevant to our industry?
LC: Links are still important as a ranking factor for any industry, as gaming is often one of the worst hit with spam links however I think learning how to build quality, natural links is very relevant for those working in SEO in the gaming industry.
iGB Live!: What is the one thing you hope delegates get out of your session?
LC: I hope that delegates will leave the session confident they can put together their own strategy and campaign to generate quality links and improve SEO performance.
iGB Live!: Why choose iGB Live! as the event to share your findings?
LC: As mentioned, the gaming industry is one of the worst for spam and paid links, so I think sharing my experience in building good links for gaming companies will be useful for the audience.
iGB Live: How do you plan on maximising your time at the event?
LC: I’ll take a good look at the agenda and pick my sessions to attend but also be around meeting people at the networking breaks and events.
