Just 2 weeks ago news emerged from the Dutch Ministry for Legal Protection in the form of a letter recognising the steps being taken to ensure operator led consumer protection.
Given this nod of approval, the draft remote gambling bill is set to resume the legislative process.
For the first time since this news, the Dutch Regulator, will be delivering a keynote at the launch of iGB Live HQ!, giving a briefing of the ministerial letter, and the progression and alignment with gambling and gaming online.
The Dutch Gambling Authority had this to say:
‘We are positive about the resume of the legislative process, and we see a revived push towards an improved consumer protection for on-line gambling.
HQ attendees will get an audience with and Q&A opportunity, as part of the boardroom activity happening in the space. Other headline pieces on the day will include financial and investment giants Blackstone, NASDAQ and Capricorn giving operators exit strategy and market forecasts for the coming gaming year.
